Salford and the Labour Party

Salford and Eccles has been a Labour seat since 1945

Democracy?

That’s right, since 1945! That’s an astonishing 69 years! This domination means two things:

  1. The Conservatives will never spend money here because it’s a Labour safe seat.
  2. And Labour will never spend money here because, yes you guessed it, it’s a Labour safe seat!

That money instead, goes to the areas where no one party dominates, and where parties are forced to actually earn our vote rather than just expect it.

Salford is not a democracy, it is a Labour stronghold. This is bad for Salford and Eccles, and bad for you and me.

What Can Bez do?

The current MP for Salford and Eccles, former Labour Cabinet minister Hazel Blears, announced her intention to stand down as Salford MP earlier this year.

On 14 March 2014, Bez announced his intention to stand as an independent candidate for Salford and Eccles MP at the next years 2015 general election.

He will representing the issues of the people, rather than a representative of any political party.

His views and policies aren’t dictated by party donors, cold hearted economics or a one size fits all policy, but instead are born out of a real concern for fracking in Salford.

The concern that the environment of Salford and Eccles is being destroyed, and our residents are being endangered, because a London centric government would like the money.

The more votes for Bez, the more Labour and the establishment are going to have to listen the real issues of  Salfordians.

He is not a career politician, he is a man of the people, and he needs your vote!
